Regular check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is no later than 2:00 p.m.

Camp Blue Ridge and its owner, Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventists will not be responsible for any accident, loss by theft, or acts of nature occurring to persons using this facility.

  1. DO NOT BRING or use on site any of the following:
    • Illegal or illicit drugs
    • Alcoholic beverages
    • Firearms, ammunition or other weapons
    • Pets
    • ATV’s, motorbikes, mini-motorbikes or four-wheelers
    • Motorboats
    • Horses or other livestock, without prior permission
    • Explosives, including fireworks
  2. Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted.
  3. Wild animals, plants, flowers and trees should be left alone. Do not cut trees or branches from live trees, pick flowers or plants, or capture, kill or injure
    animals.
  4. Personal sports equipment and personal possessions are the responsibility of the owner. Some sports equipment is provided. Skateboards, roller skates,
    and roller blades are NOT permitted at Camp Blue Ridge.
  5. For the convenience and enjoyment of others at CBR there is a "Quiet Time" each night from 10 p.m. until dawn.

  1. There are a maximum of 12 persons allowed per cabin at Camp Blue Ridge (CBR).
  2. Each group is responsible for any damage caused by and incurred during their stay.

  1. Please turn off the lights in each building after each use.
  2. When using buildings during cold weather please turn the heat down after each use.
  3. Furniture is not to be removed from any building.

  1. To contribute to the preservation of the campground, minimize the vehicle use on the property to ESSENTIAL use only.
  2. Local EMS is located at the entrance of the camp. To reach EMS, dial 911.
  3. Observe posted traffic information, speed limits and parking signs.
  4. DO NOT park within 20 feet of the entrance bridge.
  5. DO NOT park on the grass unless directed to do so.
  6. DO NOT transport persons in the back of trucks or in non-passenger vehicles, or on the sides of vehicles or tractors.

  1. Groups using Camp Blue Ridge are advised to provide an adult currently certified in CPR for the age levels served and First Aid from a nationally recognized CPR/First Aid training provider.
  2. Groups are responsible for providing their own first aid care and supplies. Call 911 in an emergency. CBR does not provide first aid or emergency care, supplies or transportation for on-site groups.
  3. In an event of an accident, illness or incident requiring professional medical, firefighting or law enforcement assistance, please contact the weekend host and call 911.

  1. Life jackets are to be worn at all times by persons using paddleboats, canoes or any watercraft.
  2. No swimming allowed in the lake. Insurance require that we have a lifeguard available. Neither DEAR nor CBR has a life guard on duty.
  3. Fishing is not permitted.
  4. Make sure all canoes are placed back on the racks, all paddles are returned to the appropriate compartment, and all life jackets are returned to the appropriate shelf in the shed.
  5. Do not remove any boats from the waterfront area.

  1. Admittance to the Petting Farm is by appointment only under supervision of the CBR staff. WARNING: The wire fence around the Petting Farm is electrically charged. No one is allowed in the barn or pasture with the horses.
  2. Due to health regulations, pets are not allowed in the lodging facilities except for visitors needing sight or hearing guided dogs.
